Another year has passed, and we’re right back at it again. With BOLTERCON 2026 a cool, easy, not panic-inducing 90-ish days away, the time has come to blast the tidings of GREAT HYPE into the cyber-ether. If you’re already there, prepared to register, you can read all the rest of this later after you complete your registration. Ok, enough intro and reminiscing – we’re on to talk about BOLTERCON 2026 and the other events happening in the second half of the year in the Bolters at Dawn clubhouse. We’ve got the Road to BOLTERCON 2026 RTTs in 40k, Age of Sigmar, and The Old World. Last, but certainly not least, we’ll talk a bit about our new hobby class in the clubhouse – The Whole Hobby Affair featuring Vince Venturella! Read on dear reader and consult your physician for hype overdose as required (can’t stop won’t stop).

BOLTERCON 2026

Believe it or not, we’re always listening to the feedback of our club members and community. Sometimes we even consider it! We’ve shuffled the schedule around for this year’s BOLTERCON to accommodate those who wish to play a two-day GT and also grab a spot in one of the many other events happening over the four (4!) days of BOLTERCON.

Our marquee competitive events are Grand Tournaments in Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, and The Old World. All three of these GTs will run on Saturday November 14th and Sunday November 15th:

  1. Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament – 48 players, 5 rounds
  2. Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament – 32 players, 5 rounds
  3. The Old World Grand Tournament – 18 players, 5 rounds

On the narrative side, we’re running series of marquee events in Horus Heresy systems that roll into one grand story for Frontlines Imperialis. Here’s the overview of those events:

  1. Zone Mortalis – Thursday, November 12th
  2. Legions Imperialis – Friday, November 13th
  3. Horus Heresy 3.0 – Saturday November 14th and Sunday November 15th

In addition to all that hard hitting hype, we have a ton of official events and community events in the schedule! Long-time favorites like 40k Doubles, Sigmarpocalypse, BattleTech, Trench Crusade, PIRATE BORG, and OnlyPaints make highly anticipated returns.

An we have new things like Black Seas, Chaos Whirlwind (AoS), Dungeons and Dragons, and The Battle for Montfort (TOW). Yes, I agree, that’s a lot of hype but no I don’t need to consult my physician just yet. You can always come back and add things later, so don’t delay locking in those events you really want.

Road to BOLTERCON 2026 RTTs

Our competitive season heats up with RTTs in three different game systems leading up to their respective GTs at BOLTERCON 2026. We call them The Road to BOLTERCON because some of us actually want to learn rules before losing at Warhammer come November. Others may even win!

These RTTs are free to club members and available for a nominal fee to the public. The overall winner of a series gets free entry into the BOLTERCON 2026 GT. AoS and 40k already have one RTT in the books and The Old World kicks off this weekend, August 15th!

  3. The Old World RTT III – October 17th
  1. Age of Sigmar RTT I – July 25th
  2. Age of Sigmar RTT II – August 29th

Get signed up to spend a day with likeminded players getting those reps in and helping your TOs practice their systems as well. All roads lead to BOLTERCON, so might as well rage along the way! The Whole Hobby Affair: Vince Venturella

Speaking of EXTREMELY HYPE THINGS that happen in the best clubhouse, we’re going to be ramping up our hobby class offerings. For the past three years, we’ve hosted Florida Man Actual aka Kenny Boucher from Next Level Painting in our annual Florida Attacks event. Back in July we kicked off the latest iteration – Florida Attacks: Revenge of the South !

Now, to really plus up that Bolters at Dawn club value, we’re adding an Ohio native to the hobby class hype train: Vince Venturella ! We are beyond excited to introduce The Whole Hobby Affair on September 26th, 2026, in the Bolters at Dawn clubhouse.
